Autonomous vehicle company Zoox is expanding to North Texas. The company has informed state regulators that it will begin testing its fleet in the area this month. A safety operator will be present in each vehicle during testing.

The fleet consists of twelve vehicles. Prior to the start of testing, Zoox has been mapping the city of Dallas since March. The company has also been in contact with city officials.

Further details about Zoox's testing in North Texas can be found through local news sources, including NBC 5 DFW.
