A man from Coppell escaped deadly flooding at the Grand Canyon. He initially thought everyone in his group had made it out safely. However, two men from North Texas died in the flooding, and a third is still missing.

The victims who died have been identified as John Giusti and Brent Rosenkranz, both with ties to Granbury. Giusti was a chiropractor and Rosenkranz owned a martial arts business. Crews are still searching for Timothy Smith, a 53-year-old man who grew up in Granbury.
